Stones River Battlefield

Well it only took me 18 years to go to the battlefield 13 miles from my home. Next stop will be Shiloh, I just hope it doesn't take 18 more years. Hope you enjoy the pictures. For some reason some are turned 90 degrees.

Nice pics! being a brit i doubt ill see many Civil war battlefields in my time, though I plan to visit Gettysburg some day :D

Great Job, have not been to Stones river for several years the last time, I was there was taking photos as you did at hells half acre across the field were the rebs charged across when looked at photos I caught a man in the field who was not there, when we took the photo no one was in the park. Weird man Weird he was wearing overalls

The park service in October actually runs a night tour that discusses such strange happenings; you are not the first....
