Gaming, and that Damn Windows Key! How to Disable it.

Hi.

I play many First Person Shooters, and I use the Alt key for crouching, and time, and time again I have pressed the damn 'Windows Key' which boots me right back to the desktop, so I decided to look around for a way to disable the left windows key so I wouldn't have to have this happen again, and after reading, and searching for what it seemed like hours, I came across some great things.

I have packaged all what I have found. Now please remember to backup your registry before using any of these <filename> dot reg files.

I can tell you they do work. After you do use any of these reg files, remember to reboot your system so the changes can take place.

I used the left windows key disable reg file, and I no longer have to worry about being booted back to my desktop.

In this rar file are several reg files for different keys you may wish to disable, also included are txt files that explain further on how to restore any changes.

Also remember, I am NOT responsible for any damages that may occur, so please do not bother hammering me on this, remember I'm not twisting your arm too use these files.

Yep, annoying is saying it politely.

The wife has heard me curse more than once over this. Nothing worse when playing a game, and you have setup a great shot, and bang back to the desktop.
