Problems entering MP

After a great deal of problems getting activated, which were solved by a a very patient Mr. Norb,
I have run thru all the AI scenarios.

My installation was spotty and some of the games are very difficult to command. It seems that the more activity in a particular scenario, the more diccifult C & C becomes.

Therefore, I was hoping to try multiplayer. However, I can't seem to get into the "lobby". If a member out there would be willing to help, I would appreciate it! After going thru all the scenarios, I would say my level of play is adequate.

If you can help me to avoid annoying Mr. Norb again, please contact me at swantsays at gmail dot com. I am eager to
try MP as the rest is rapidly playing out.

Try the below...and make sure you delete your email from that thread as well.

You need to register a name first.

First make sure you have version 1.10.
Second, go to the MP page.

-At the top right, type in your Player Name.
-Leave handicap at 100
-Type in a name in the Power lobby account name box
-Enter your password below it
-Re-enter your password below that.
-Hit the button on the far right..."create new account"

If the name you choose has been taken, you need to try again.
Once you have successfully created an account, hit the enter lobby button.

I tried that several times with several different names; some of them rather exotic.

I did not receive any prompt saying info was inputted incorrectly or name was already taken. In Every case, I was unable to enter lobby.

Your point regarding 1.1 version may be relevant, but I don't know for sure which version I have, although because of recent activation, I assume it is the most recent.

On the intro/menu screen in the upper left hand corner you can check your version.
It should say "SowGB 1.10".

If you have entered in a valid name and you are using the right password, you need to log that info in and hit the "enter lobby" button - it is just to the left of the "create a new account" button.

If all that is being done correctly and it still doesn't work then you should email Norb directly to request assistance.

When you click the button to enter he lobby, do you get an error message or anything?

The lobby seems to be up and running now. Saw another post about this and it's live.
