Change game speed. Game crashes.

I play with an European keyboard with a European/German keyboard layout "QWERTY".

The keys described in the SOW manual are the same, which are used to change speed in Take Command: 2nd Manasses.
When I push these buttons in TCM2 - no function/effect.
In TCM2 with my European/German keyboard "QWERTY" (+) and (-) works, which are the U.S. key "Qwerty" (]) and (/).

When I try changing the game speed in SOW with the keys described in the manual "Qwerty" (=) and (-), on the German keyboard (?) and (`), the game crashes every time!

Changing the game speed in the options menu during the game works fine - but is very cumbersome.

Are there any solution?
Can I configure my own/desired keyboard commands?

Sure. In the keyboard.csv file located in the Work subfolder of SOWGB.

Speed Up,+,speedup
Slow,-,speeddown
