Activation Errors
Re: Activation Errors
Just to reiterate, you never have to deactivate nor uninstall to apply a patch. Just download the patch and install it right over your current version.

Re: Activation Errors
Great to hear! Every time I have seen this happen to people, it's because their virus scanner flagged the game files. We have fixed it so that most virus scanners will not do this, but it's possible there are still some out there that will.. So it's best to make an exception in your virus scanner to ignore the SOWG directory.Yeah, that worked perfectly. Thanks guys!

Re: Activation Errors
I accidentally clicked 'Manual' on my second copy of the game installation while trying to switch my activation between the two. Now neither of the two copies are activated, and I can't activate either with my code. It says the code is already in use. I've emailed it to activate@scourgeofwar.com to have it deactivated, hopefully this will let me do an online activation again.

Re: Activation Errors
The code that is listed in your usercode.txt could be the one you have to enter in step 2 of the manual activation process.

Re: Activation Errors
I don't want to manually activate. What happened is this:
I clicked Deactivate in game. It took me to the screen with the buttons "Online" "Manual" and another one. I clicked "Manual" accidentally, and immediately it said I had to email my code to activate@scourgeofwar.com.
I sent an email to sowsupprt@scourgeofwar.com, and got a reply saying to send both my activation logs in.
What I want is to have my code completely deactivated so I can activate it online as I normally do.

Re: Activation Errors
Ah okay, you clicked on deactivate and then on manual. Should be solved in a minute or two.
Re: Activation Errors
Thanks it's solved.
Re: Activation Errors
Once you hit manually deactivate, it's instantly deactivated. Nothing you can do at that point except email in your information so that the server count can be increased. So even though it was a mess up for you, you did the process correctly.I don't want to manually activate. What happened is this:

If you hit manually activate, nothing is done UNTIL you email in the information. So if you did that by accident, you could still go back and online activate.
