[Missouri] Confederate Enlistment Thread
As announced a short while ago, the new Missouri Campaign variant has been released by Monsieur Garnier.
I hereby post this notice for recruits to fight for the Army of the Confederate States of America:
I will receive all able-bodied men if they will present themselves at my headquarters by the fourth of January with good horse and gun.
For now it will suffice to sign your name below and state what level of command you wish. Once the full roster is obtained, I shall coordinate our forces accordingly.
I wish none but those who desire to be actively engaged. My headquarters for the present is at Richmond, Virginia. Come on, boys, if you want a heap of fun and to kill some Yankees.

We've got Baylor and Hays thus far - come on, men, speak up here! We don't want those Yankees up yonder making more noise than we do! At this rate you'll have me looking to fight off them bluebellies by my lonesome.

Well, I'll have to see. We just got snow here, so I need to do a little dog-sledding, first. If I'm able to do it tonight, I'll be on the Rebs!

Parker, is it too late to join?
Re: [Missouri] Confederate Enlistment Thread
I'd be keen to give the yanks a lickin' but being from the other side of the world, timezone can be an issue.
I'll try my best to bring up my troops at the appropriate times however.

No, jump in, the Yanks are badly disorganized as is. I have the ability to divvy up troops as necessary, so it shouldn't be an issue. And Voltigeur, we figure it will likely be this weekend before we have any chance at a game with this, so the scheduling may be more accomodating.

According to the campaign launcher, if you go in and try to set up a battle, the Union only has 2 players registered. Methinks their force commander needs to hit the streets in a recruitment drive...

It appears they have done so, and so once again we are shorthanded. Rally 'round the colors, men! No doubt we will give them a good thrashing, but it would be polite to bring equal numbers to the table to make the Yankee devils feel better.
Neal, Cleburne? Voltigeur, you can sign up and play as you are available. Signing up does not mean you will be expected to be there every time regardless or anything. Plus if you and Cleburne are on board, half our team will be from overseas, quite a novel concept in my opinion.
To sign up, download the launcher and run it (but do not copy over the original "Platte" mod launcher - the names are identical). http://www.sow.philipmcg.com/c/missouri ... w_download
