Hi.
I just finished downloading, and installing the newest version of Joomla v1.6 (I installed it locally only), and there seems to be no upgrade, only the full version release.
It looks nice, but if you can't upgrade from 1.5.21(2) what's the point? It does look great though I can say that much about it.
Download Links.

Kunena 1.6.2 has been released: http://www.kunena.org/download
Anyway, I'm off to take a look at it.
Cheers, and take care.

Re: Joomla 1.6 has been released. UPDATE!
Hi.
Well, all I can tell you that this version of Joomla is an absolute powerhouse. Mind you most of what I have been tinkering with is somewhat bewildering, and I no doubt will have to read a manual as thick as my head, and weighs half as much, but from what I have worked with, it's simply incredible.
Anyway, here is a link to their forum concerning upgrading, or migrating from 1.5x to 1.6. I haven't finished reading all of it yet, but I thought I would pass this on before I go back to it.

Now the one thing for me is to figure out what the difference is between migrating, and a simple upgrade. Like I have said I'm very new to all of this, so if you think me ignorant, you would be right, I am.
Later!
