Site Was Down

Post by norb »

in case you were wondering. Not my fault this time, they were having server issues. I think it was at max down for a couple of hours. Not acceptable, but too much on my plate to switch now.

Massive problems this morning, but I emailed them and the support seems to have taken care of the issues. I am looking into a new host because this just has been ridiculous here.

Yep, Norb has been busy moving things to a different host. Notice that the address is ".net" now.

The new host has great reviews, so hopefully these problems will be resolved for good..

FYI, all links to places on the forum that used the .com address now redirect to the homepage.
Play Scourge of War Multiplayer! www.sowmp.com
Also try the singleplayer carryover campaign

It will probably stay that way until I can get the domain transferred. I just want to make sure that we're up and people can find us right now.

As of yesterday someone could still type in www.norbsoftdev.com – and the site would automatically transfer over to this new site norbsoftdev.net

This seems to no longer work – unless someone already know to put the .net at the end of the name they will probably assume that the site is down.

Thanks to Little Powell for mentioning this above, other-wise I would never have noticed this change.

The norbsoftdev.com is working for me. Yesterday I switched that domain so that the old links could work. Please keep checking, it should work soon.
