I was just joking about getting in trouble for letting the cat out of the bag.. I think it's safe for me to talk about stuff that is definitely going to be in the patch.
I know... :)

Another one; there's a new command called tcofficers. When executed, it will TC all subordinate commanders of the selected commander. No more cycling through the chain of command and manually TC'ing everyone.
That will come in handy...

I think it would be fun to not publish the changelog till about a week after the patch...would kinda be like an Easter Egg Hunt.
Good idea!

Will you be able to send a courrier message to TC'd commanders and will they obey without haveing to un TC them first? That is the major issue with courriers atm. When you TC them to keep them inplace and then need them to relocate it is very painfull to have to un TC them to make them respond to your new orders. Hope that issue will be addressed also. Thanks

I haven't been here in a while. Will it be necessary to undo all mods before applying the features patch?

I wouldn't say all mods, but there might be a couple that use custom OOBs etc that wouldn't work. I know that I'll be going through and fixing a couple of mine, and I'm sure Rebbugler and others will be as well. So once you get the patch, I would enable one mod at a time and see what works or doesn't. Any issues would not be hard to fix.

We could wait for April's Fool and include a few fancy things in the changelog, such as having to march the prisoners out of the map in order to get the points. :)
Don't forget having to leave a commander there to babysit them on their way to earning those points, also. :P

Hi.

Is there a way to secretly sneak some screenshots, and post them? I would like to see some shots of the Map options please....

It's the waiting that's killing me here. If NorbSoftDev was a store, I know you would see me every day pressing my face up against the storefront window to see if it's been released yet.

We are working on the final testing of the scenarios and I am working on the installer. We will release a beta version, like we have before, on this forum before going official. I know it's a small dev thing, that we use anyone that's willing to help us squash any lingering bugs before it goes around the net. We appreciate anyone that can help us out. There's just so many changes, that we can't guarantee that we are as bug free as we like to be at this point. We are also looking to do a significant price reduction on the download version soon as well. Hopefully with these two items, we can get games on MP in the lobby for everyone that wants to play.

Hi.

Got ya! I'm always willing to help you out so all you have to do is ask.

Anyway, thanks again Norb, and it's great news about the cost of the downloaded version is being reduced, but then again the game is a great price as it is (I'm a die hard supporter of your work).

Cheers, and take care everyone!
