Wanted to reply back to this thread, and first of all thank Norb for the price drop! I'am now the proud owner of SoW. As of this morning. I plan to play through some SP to get my Battle legs under me, then really hope to try my hand at MP. Will warn everyone beforehand. My MP experience is very limited. Calling me a "newb" would be a promotion. But, I can't wait to give it a try. The MP aspect is what brought me to the game. And I hope my inexperience doesn't cause to much frustration, until i'm up to speed. Hope to see you all on the battlefield soon! Thanks again Norb! And really hope the price drop pays off quadruple. Both for the community. And for your great game.

Ok. Just a couple quick questions. My login name on the MP site. It can be the same as this one right? And, second, I have teamspeak already installed, is there any mods, or anything else I will need, such as maps, or things of that nature? Also, I've updated my copy to the latest patch. Can't imagine that would be a problem, but, never hurts to make sure. And thanks for the welcome.

The new player guide says everything you need to get started in MP. There's a minimap mod and tree mod that are nice to have visually, but aren't technically necessary. I need to get the links for those and put them in the guide.
