I am having some issues with this fight. I moved my Brigade into the woods and swept out Archers Brigade then rolled up Brockenbrough. After routing both those Brigades I moved to the rail road cut and pushed back Davis routing Heth's Division with the help of Cutler's boy of course. I was able to help Cutler keep his Brigade intact and the artillery as well. I took about 300 casaultie while inflickting 1,000. I could not get the objective in the woods to change to my possesion even with my whole brigade by it. I cannot get my score up either. my best is 1500 and that with both objectives in my possesion and Harry Heth on the run.
Thanks, Sempr Fi

Re: Blood in the Run
If you haven't installed the patches, the objective in the Herbst Woods will disappear, greatly reducing your score. With the new patches, this is corrected and you will be able to take the woods.
I find the most success rushing the 2nd Wisconsin into the woods on my right flank until they come under fire. The 7th Wisconsin should reach them shortly after and take up position on their left. When the 19th Indiana and 24th Michigan reach the front, you will be able to position them to the left of Archer's flank along the Willoughby Run and decimate his left flank. Take the 6th Wisconsin and position them near Cutler's units by the railroad cut. Use them to protect the artillery or repel Heth's men if they try to cross the cut. Doing this, you can have Archer soundly defeated within twenty minutes, giving you plenty of time to get the required points for holding the woods.
