I am in the process of testing various sizes of pictures to make them appropriate for posting. I am using one of my existing threads. How do I delete my test post in an existing thread which I originally authored?
The help ? icon for this board takes me to a wiki page with no information on deleting.

Deletion for the forum is turned off. Mainly because we've had instances of people deleting posts and we're only left reading the replies. Don't worry about doing tests, I don't think it bothers anyone.

What you can do to test a lot of different pictures on the same page would be something like the following.
Upload the picture to your image hosting page, and then post a link on the forum.
Upload another picture, but this time delete the old picture from the hosting site , and then delete the link from this site.
Then just keep repeating the same process, which is sort of like deleting the page, but only keeping the last or one picture that you are posting!
