Bugles and Flags v06...Upgrade v7

Just loaded v06. Scenarios either fail to initialize or bombs during load. What am I doing wrong?

So, you unzipped it into the Mods folder, read and followed the directions in the 'read me...' file, and the scenarios won't load? Check for conflicting mods...same files, etc.

If the latest Beta Patch was installed correctly it should be showing sowGB1.1116 .

That got it. Mea culpa, I had the latest official patch installed. Didnt know of the betas until you mentioned it. Many thanks.

Hi

I tried to download from the site biut it insisted on calling the downloaded file Bugles and Flags v06.7z
which I was then unable to unzip. I tired changing the suffix to zip afterwards but had no joy as the unzip could not open the downloaded format.

What am I doing wrong?

OK, not very PC savvy, but when I hit download, it asks me to save "Bugles and Flags v06.7z" when I save it to the Mods folder, all I get is an icon with that title on it... not a new sub-folder, just an icon.

I've downloaded other mods successfully, so not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I just noticed the 7Zip thing, will try that.

First I've seen any mention of that.
