Map Icon Display Settings?

Have the map icon display options changed? I seem to recall that there used to be an option for "all my units" or some such, but now that's gone.

Triolgy, Off topic but have you checked out Shelby Foote's Civil War 14 volumes edition with maps, photo's and paintings?

I've looked at it, but I don't have the shelf space.

I only recently finished the last volume of The Civil War. That's why I picked the avatar. Magnificent writing.

i never read the books, but I saw the series recently and he was probably my favourite of the people talking...

where do you get the 14v version? i could only find the 14v on amazon, but not for sale, and the 3v on ebay is a signed copy for €1500!!

Hi con20or, The 14 volume set came out as the 40th anniversary set in 98. The text is the same as the original, but has tons of colored maps, paintings and black and white photos. Not sure how available it is today. Amazon has the 3 volume paperbacks in a boxed set for $49. Each volume is around a 1000 pages, but don't let that scare you off.Old Shelby has a way with words, he grabs you on page one and never lets go, his narrative is a real page turner.If your never read them before, would recommend the regular 3 volume set over the 14 volume set.The maps, photo's and paintings can sometimes be a bit of a distraction and take you away from the narrative. Highly recomended, a true gem.

just found this on ebay...the 14volume one for $20?? Only posts to US, so no good to me. Not sure if maps etc are included.

ordered the three volume one:) my father mentioned it to me years ago, before I got TCM2, or SOW or saw ken burns doc.
