Xfire Support

Can a few more people please join Xfire and give your feedback for SoW:G at the link at the forum above. It would be nice to get supported and it would lead to more games sales and players, but they need a few more testers it seems. I was able to get support for Rise of Flight: The First Great Air War and it has led to more people buying and playing the game who have posted video and screenshots at Xfire which has led to even more people buying and trying the game out.

I did propose it at the triage meeting yesterday (can't make it to any of these meetings before :unsure:) and apparently it passes. So if I understand correctly it should (and I emphasize on the "should" :p) be supported in the next game update or the one after it.

Xfire has coded for SOW - Gettysburg and I have the update ... it was probably two or three weeks ago. Anyway, I have the entire game now and started xfire and then Gettysburg and ran a Brigade Combat tutorial that I haven't been able to succeed at. It ran for 44 minutes, about 56 GB of video, no extra lag or other interference with the game or gameplay. Of course, it would have taken half an hour or better to encode and upload, so I just deleted it. This was only a test to see if it would work without issues and it does work well. Haven't tested the voice-over on the xfire video in-game in Gettsyburg yet, but it has worked in a number of other games without issues. I'll try again with xfire and the brigade tutorial tomorrow and maybe only film some of the good parts - if there are any - and post the url for folks to watch them at xfire.
