Interesting idea, I have added blank maps to our list of items for future development. No promises, but it is in the mix for consideration.

My current company will eat into some of my game dev time for a little while, probably over the summer.
Congratulations on the Job!

Hey, speaking about the dev time – what area of the game do you feel need the most attention?

Is it anything about the current game that you wish you could have done different?
There's a ton I would do differently, and I've wrote all this more than once! But I take my role as Producer/Project Manager pretty seriously and the most important thing to me is shipping on time with no bugs. So I cannot take the time as programmer to do all I want, or do everything how I want. As a programmer I want more speed and better MP. Those are the things that I wish I had more time for and I'll likely spend time on both of those for the next release.

I was just sitting here reading this thread during my nightly bout of insomnia and I have to say I'm blown away that this game and it's environment is a part time effort. This is arguably the best game of it's kind ever produced and I'm familiar just about all of them. Imagine what could be done if everyone could devote all their efforts toward it. That's a rhetorical question because I'm sure you guys have thought about that many times. Truly a labor of love.

You can say that again born. I started playing computer games when the first home computers came out, and it was just a wish back then, that someday, someone would make a Civil War game this realistic. So, you see, wishes do come true, and we have these good gentlemen to thank for it. I tip my kepi, and give a salute to all of the SOW dev team, wonderful job guys.

I think the most amazing part of this is that the code is written by one person, that in it-self is quite remarkable.

I remember a couple of decades ago with my Commodores, and
Tandy computers, but instead of trying to learn to program them, I tried to figure out the lotteries.

Well, that didn’t work out as planned!

Other-wise, I would be giving Norb a fit, with my constant tampering around with the code.
