Score not recording?

Game won't run. Keeps crashing. Hopefully we won't get any posts here, but if we do, we'll try to help you out. You can also post any bugs that you find here. IMPORTANT: Don't post mod related problems here!

Score not recording?

I played GB19 (Codori, Stannard on the Flank) and won a major victory. I surprised to see that my score didn't stick on the map or the high score list, so I played it again (it's short). Once again, my score didn't stick.

This was with the latest patch. Is it a known bug?

The score will only stick if you score higher than you previously scored on it, even if you still get a Major Victory.

Oh, I should have pointed out that this was my first play of the scenario. After two Major Victories, the flag on the map is still blank with no number. Other scenarios seem fine.

Very strange. As far as I know none of that stuff was touched so I can't imagine how that could have been broken.. I'll need a couple files from you to verify the bug:

HighScore.dat found in the Work folder

GB02-July1-McPherson's Ridge (C-Div).NSC found in Work\Saved Games\Cont (I hope that's the right NSC file)

Please zip both of those up and email to matt at norbsoftdev dot com

Ok, confirmed the bug. Your score should show up on the flag and the High Scores screen no matter what score you get, but this isn't happening. I have submitted a report for the bug. Thanks Trilogy.

Also confirmed about GB19, just scored a 7691, in 10 minutes...fast-forward, and it did not register.

Sorry we missed this one, but like LP mentioned, it wasn't messed with in building the new patch...best to my knowledge.

Question, is GB02 also affected this way? It is mentioned in this thread, but I managed a recorded high score.
