Before I found TC2M, then finally to the GREATEST game to be made for ACW "Scourge of War Gettysburg"...

Hi.

Well before I found TC2M, and Scourge of War - Gettysburg I was trawling the internet to find anything on the American Civilwar which I would spend my hard earned money on (I already had Sid's Game), and I have to say that if I did not download this particular game I would not have continued on my search which eventually led me to TC2M, then finally to Scourge of War Gettsburg. The game link I am going to provide is for a game called "American Civil War: Gettysburg", and it looked like what I was looking for (full game but only allows you 60 minutes of game time before it forces you to purchase the game), so I downloaded it, and WOW, looked cool, the graphics are not bad, the basic turn based top down view looked interesting until you actually play the game when you finally meet head to head with the enemy.

The game lacks everything that makes a great game.....Really annoyed by it's game play, I struggled to find another ACW game until I finally after hours of searching I finally came across TC2M. Man what a game. When I downloaded the game demo I was hooked, the sheer pageantry, and scope of TC2M just blew me away...

I would suggest that you install this game using Sandboxie which will allow you to keep the game from using your system registry, and two you can delete the Sandboxie contents once the 60 minutes (trial time)of game time is up which forces you to purchase the game, or uninstall it. I would suggest you delete the contents of Sandboxie instead of uninstalling it.

I hate to admit it, but back in early 2005 I paid actual money for this atrocity. I was searching for an ACW game aside from Sid Meier's and forked over the cash for this thing ... luckily I wasn't forced to endure it long as I found TCBR soon after.
