Problem With Bugles & Flags v07

Post by born2see »

I just installed this great mod but when I open any of the included scenarios, the graphics on the initial courier message are screwed up. To test I disabled all the other installed mods but still had the problem. The only change I've made was to change the resolution to 1366 x 768. I reset this to 1024 x768 but it didn't make a difference. I have the 1.2 update installed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hmmm, all I can think of is a mod conflict, but since you tested that out...not a clue.

Before I download and recheck the upload...Anyone else having trouble with v07?

I recently upgraded to DirectX 11. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Don't think it's that easy to go back to say 9.0C. I'll try reinstalling the latest video drivers. I've got a Dell laptop with the Intel chipset video drivers. Not the best for gaming although I haven't had any problems with this game.

Reinstalled the latest video drivers. No change. Forgot I'd installed the Darker Trees mod but I went back to the original Base directory still no change. I guess I'll live with it. I mean who needs orders anyway. Just advance to contact and kick butt! Right?

Can you post a picture of the problem?

Also – try to disable the mod and see if the same problem exists!

You may also be able to use the System Restore option to set the computer back to the original settings before the directx update, but I wouldn’t do that until all else failed!

Here is a screenshot. I also noticed with the Bugles $ Flags enabled that other scenarios crash the game. For example, I've been playing Lost Avenue for the last few days and it works with the mod disabled but crashes when it's enabled. The scenarios associated with the mod just have the initial dispatch mangled. I'll try doing a System Restore to see if that's it. I do this stuff for a living so I don't mind.

Hi, only use one mod at a time- to see where the problem is- I had problems with the airburst modv2 causes a crash- you could remove and re-install the mod and then test it

I think the .bmp screenshot was too big. Here is a .jpg.

I don't think that that would be related to the directx install.

It appears to be a wrong display setting within one of the csvfiles.

Also - any old mod that was downloaded before the latest patch should be deleted from your games Mod folder.

Just bought the game a few months ago. First thing I did was install the 1.2 update. Any thoughts on what that wrong setting might be?
