The SDK manual is in the ..\Work\SDK directory after you install the SDK.

Okay Boys and Girls, It "Help Needed" time.

I've been working on a OOB for Rclark14 so he can have 150 guns under one command. Here's the problem - I have sub-divided 40 batteries into 6 "Divisions", (really Battalions). Originally I had set them up as one HUGE Division, but that didn't work. SOWGB Divisions can only hold 10 "Brigade" units each, hence the sub-dividing. However, a new problem has arisen. The "Corps" of Artillery under Porter Alexander will only show 2 Divisions on the Battlefield. The OOB shows all 6 Divisions in the Sandbox area. Is there a maximum size a "Corps" can have? Yes, I've checked and re-checked my editing. Nothing wrong there.

Thoughts?

R,

It appears that no-one is willing or able to answer my question (above) regarding getting all 150 guns under one commander. It appears at this point I have failed you. I am truly sorry. Maybe someone else can figure it out.

Hi Jack, I was counting on you since you know how to do it- what is the most artillery pieces we can get in the scene- and can we do it please- something would be a lot better than no scene- I would love to see a mod with maximum artillery- can it be done

Are you setting up the OOB in a scenario? If you are using it in Sandbox, the Sandbox system could be limiting it somehow.. Maybe if you have the "balance forces" button checked. But if you are setting it up as a Scenario, then there shouldn't be a limit..

Yep, wondered what the problem was here. Simple solution, take stock scenario GB18, eliminate Rebel Infantry units, tweak the scenario config, clear most of the battlescript, rename scenario...it's done.

Brothers,

Thank you for your replies. This was to be a straight Sandbox OOB. I assumed RClark14 wanted to command the Artillery within the Army. I can set things up so as to have ONLY artiilery on the Rebel side, as a seperate Army. That only requires deleting the infantry and Cavalry. Was not working it as a Scenario.

R, the maximum number of batteries I was ably to get going was either 14 or 16, in two Divisions.
Talk to me brother, allow me to assist you again. Failure is not an option in my world.
