It is a riot. I'm sure everyone has a vacation story they can tell that would rival the movie. Maybe that is why when watching the movie, it rings true.

The midwest is definitely an impediment to travel, flat, boring and long. It was a major reason for moving west. Now, GC is only 7 hours away. Yellowstone is a 9 hr drive. Best of all, there is not a cornfield or silo to be seen.

I'm in the California Central Valley and I'm 7 hours from the Grand Canyon and 16 hours from Yellowstone. So I put you in Nevada or maybe Western Utah. I'm sure I'm wrong but it was fun trying to figure it out.

Nope, western Colorado, but very close to the Utah border.

Beautiful state. I'm born and raised in the SF Bay Area but if I was going to live anywhere else it would be Colorado. I'm not alone because I remember visiting there and seeing bumper stickers saying "Please Don't Californicate Our State" or something to that effect. :unsure:
