The scenarios are probably the issue. You maybe have another mod conflicting with them (I think I already posted this somewhere.. maybe even to you..) :laugh:Hi ... I will reinstall the patch and try another scenario. The scenarios I've been playing are the three add-on scenarios that break a regiment down into companies.
Thanks, CJ

Re: SOWGB Patch 1.3
The reinstall did the trick. Made it through a full scenario without a crash. Same mod, so it wasn't the mod.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: SOWGB Patch 1.3
Well, I am tired of experimenting with SOWGB in order to get it to run. I only have so much time to dedicate to the game and this ain't a whole of fun.
So, I will check back periodically and see if there is any hope for getting the game to work.
I appreciate all of ther responses to my request for technical assistance and still hope for some resolution a bit further down the road.

Understand. Did you ever try taking it back to 1.2? I know you're tired of messing with it but that would be useful to know.Well, I am tired of experimenting with SOWGB in order to get it to run. I only have so much time to dedicate to the game and this ain't a whole of fun.

This may only work if you have not uninstalled the original copy of the game, but left it installed as Norb mentioned in a previous post.Well, I am tired of experimenting with SOWGB in order to get it to run. I only have so much time to dedicate to the game and this ain't a whole of fun.
Restore your Computer back to a date that you know ScrougeofWar worked.
Not the date of the recent patch, but a date before that!
If this doesn’t work, you will probably waste ten minutes of your time.

Re: SOWGB Patch 1.3
Question - Will the new Rock Creek map work with the V1.2 - or does it require that the V1.3 be installed?
Thanks,

Re: SOWGB Patch 1.3
All of our map packs will require 1.3 to work.

Re: SOWGB Patch 1.3
Hi All, I'm new to the game and this forum...
I've got a question regarding keyboard commands for the "Map" player aids. Specifically "M" and "N". The "M" key appears to work as described in the manual, showing a map with visual aids. However, I'm lost on how to make the "N" key work. Hitting the key in gameplay does not appear to do anything. Should a different map appear? Or, is it to be used after the "M" map is up?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I've searched extensively here in the forum and the manual, so apologies if this is covered somewhere I didn't find. The only reference I see is in the 1.3 notes here:
* Units can now be ordered to locations on the map by clicking on the new Command Map. The Command Map is displayed by pressing the "N" key or by issuing the "Move to Map Point" order by courier.
Thanks in advance,
Aggie90
