I'm not sure if this is a glitch or if I just missed a mod that everyone else has...
My problem is that I have uniform quality on best, and all the uniforms are the same for every man, as in the confederates have plain grey uniforms that are just transplanted versions of the union ones, and they have no variety to them.
I've seen many screenshots from other people's AARs, and they have a great variety of uniforms.. not sure what i'm doing wrong.
I'm thinking i'll feel very dumb once someone answers this, as its most likely operator error :pinch:

Re: Uniforms?
I'm not sure which uniform mod you are referring to, and I was under the impression that the unmodded version of the game included a variety of uniforms and variations within individual regiments.
In my game every confederate and union soldier is a carbon copy of the one next to him. No equipment differences or packs of any kind, no hats or anything.

Re: Uniforms?
As far as I know you should have a variety of uniforms with the best settings selected.I'm not sure which uniform mod you are referring to, and I was under the impression that the unmodded version of the game included a variety of uniforms and variations within individual regiments.
Are you running any mods that could interfere with those settings?
I’m not sure if the demo game only had one uniform, but are you running the demo, or the game?

Re: Uniforms?
Turned out it was operator error after all. I had meddled with some of the sprites, in an effort to mod a bit myself. Turned out I screwed up some of the files somehow. I switched my backups in and now the uniforms are there. Oops.

Haha the only game i've really modded succesfully was Rome: Total War and the system was much, much different for that game. I'm sure i'll keep at it in SOW though.
