Power Off in the South West
Power Off in the South West
Well that was a good lesson for us here in Southern California. How unprepared a lot of us are. Getting a small generator is now on my list. Water is on my list. Food is no problem we have a years supply in food storage. Our church has taught us to be prepared for just such an emergency. We have those hand crank flash lights and radios. Think I will plant more trees on my property for shade and fuel. Also I'm going to get one of those phones that have the capability to use as a wifi terminal. My neighbor just brought out his lap top and used his phone and wammo he had the internet. Any and all suggestions will be noted for use in the future.

Ah Born, personally I like it. However I have only used an M1 and the military 45. That was back in the sixties during the Viet Nam era. I would harm my self more than an intruder if I were armed with that beauty you put up.

Nah Boles, just get it on your shoulder like your M1 (ok, not quite the same, but still) and you're good to go. Don't go all Hollywood and you'll be fine.
