How did you hear about Scourge of War Gettysburg?
Hi.
Just wondering how everyone come to know about SOWgb.
I read about it on the War Gamers forum. There was a discussion about Mister Timpko's next project so I headed over to check it out.
Later.

I played Take Command 2 and stumbled over from that game... But I haven't played much of either due to a poor gaming rig... that all changed last week!!! Time to play!!!

I was eyeballing the Walker Bros. Studios Civil War game, but losing faith, was starting to look like Age of Empires...Civil War style, then I heard about this little company’s civil war title called Civil War Bull Run. The rest is history.

kg sspoom turned me on to TC2, and after I played that the first time, I told him that if that game ever went multiplayer, it would be huge, 20k people online playing.
So when SOWGB was released, I bought a new computer and SOWGB the same day.
I'm still puzzled as to why there aren't 20k people online playing every day, but hey, I'm thankful for 12-16 who play with me on a daily basis.

Soldier,
I also am puzzled. This game is SO cool. Boatloads of people should be playing this all the time.

You all got me thinking. I read Civil War Times magazine and others as well. We could try letters to the editors about this game. They probably would not publish it because it smacks as advertizing. Maybe Norb could invest a little add money for a listing or two. With the free demo link. Everyone likes FREE.
