CM Options would be nice to see...possible?
Howdy doo.
Well I have finished up having a great game of CMAK, and I just love this game, and I'm on the hunt for a Civilwar mod for it (I somehow doubt that there is one made for CMAK) soooooo it's only natural that having these modes for SOWgb would be asked for.
Since this game has the best A.I so far for this type of genre, and so much that it would be difficult to name them all, how about adding a few modes such as turn based, ability to have games via e-mail, etc etc...
My peanut would like to know if you folks will one day do this?
Cheers....

Good old CMAK. No telling how many hours I've spent playing that game. What we really need is a random map generator like the CM engine for SOW. That would be awesome.

You know if this could be done, it would take about a year to play out one scenario..doh! Oh well, it was only a thought, well not much of a thought, more like a nasty brain fart, and a bad one at that.

Kampfgruppe
We're a wargaming club that got its start with Close Combat III in 1998 and then moved on to the Combat Mission series when the MSN gaming zone dropped Close Combat.
We used to play giant Combat Mission games with 6 to 8 players (a major pain saving games and emailing them around).
As recently as last winter we were still having CMBB and CMAK round robin tournaments. But CM: Shock Force never won us over. I have the new CM: Normandy, but I'm not impressed.

Mike,
Have you tried Panzer Command Ostfront?
It's really what Battlefront should have done: basically an upgraded CMBB.
Here's an excellent AAR: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.as ... age=1&key=

I have heard about that concerning Shock Force. Some like it, some don't, and that is why I never bought the games after CMAK (I never did buy CMBB, my loss...groan). Good to know your opinion of Normandy, I was eyeing it..thanks you may have saved me a few pennies come Christmas.

Haaa, that must have been a pain sending out email's for those many people playing.

So you still occasionally play CMBB/CMAK with that many people?
Cheers...

Hi.
I have been reading up on this game KG_Soldier, and I don't see if there is a Serial Key activation (similar to SOWgb), if it does I have to pass.
Cheers.
