I have installed something on my website (Joomla 1.5x) called JDownloads which would in effect stop having to chase down what there is to download for Mods, Conversions, OOBS, and all edits for Scourge of War Gettysburg.
I have found it really hard to keep track on what is going on.
Anyway this is only a test to see what you folks think, and if this should be implemented. Believe me there are just too many things to download, and try to keep up with so I thought doing it this way would be more easy on us.

I am in no way wanting to step on NSD toes here, I am only suggesting a solution. I will uninstall this Joomla Component if NSD sees fit for me to do so.
Believe me this would cut down on the headaches...
Later.

Re: Your thoughts???
It's something that could be looked at. So far I have download countless updates for the mods, and I have unfortunately also downloaded things that were not updates at all that were posted (made me think that they were updates soon to find out that they weren't)...at the moment the way things are it's just too confusing.sounds like a very good idea to me.its quite difficult to sort out whats what on the mod front so something to make life easier would be welcome.

I will be adding to the database on my website as time goes on with new updates. For those who do mod, and wish to join in, all that is required is registration on the website, and I will place you in the Modding Group which will give you rights to upload, and modify your files as you see fit.
Anyway, it would be very cool to see this on NSD.
Cheers.

Re: Your thoughts???
My thoughts?
I wish this was already in place because my old computer lost a swift battle with my 9 yr old grandson and his deadly weapon (a large glass of milk.)
It was such a lopsided defeat!
Today I had to scour the Mod forum to find all the mods I wanted and managed to successfully, and easily, download and install 24 mods.
Then the brain cramp happened and I sit here, with drool running down my chin, trying to figure out how to install the textured minimaps, the alternate toolbar and lee mod v4.
Yeah, I like your idea.
I welcome any help on the above mentioned 3 mods.

Mike,
This is something we have discussed but it won't be considered until Antietam is released. We'll all be able to take a deep breath then and look at some of these issues.
