Straight up I'm a noob when it comes to commanding forces, and I'm ignorant where commander names for both sides of the American Civilwar (outside of Lee, Grant, and Sherman).
The trouble I was having was trying to figure out who commanded who which made me make my own OOB's using Garnier's OOB editor (this guys is a genius).

I would create a random OOB, and before saving I would replace (within Garnier's oob editor) the commanders names to reflect the names of my family. Doing this helped me out allot, especially when sending out courier messages. I knew who was commanding who, and it also made me more proficient in courier play, all in all I am a better player (well in my head that is).
Just thought I would pass this on...
