I don't know about the multiplayer thing, Michael. I've never done that...only single player. Seems a bit daunting....having to download teamspeak...I wouldn't know where to begin. And while my skills are so crappy (cannon fodder indeed! I'm glad the Union didn't need to rely on my battle abilty, or else there wouldn't have been a Union!)...I think I would annoy my colleagues and delight my enemies. ON the other hand, it would be amazing to go against another human....

Hi apoll.

Don't sell yourself short apoll ;) . I wouldn't mind having a game with you. I'm very easy to get along with, and I don't judge, I just have fun. So what if we screw up, that's the whole part of learning the game, and believe me when I say this I am crap when it comes to playing this game, and more so when I play multiplayer. :ohmy:

When I have a game it's all about the fun factor. I care nothing for stats, or caring if someone should be on my right flank or left. That is about the one thing I have always disliked about online games, there is always someone who makes the life of MP'ing way too hard, and serious.

Me, I just want to have fun apoll, and if you want someone to have a game with then leave me a PM with the times you want or can play, I will be very happy to accommodate (if I can I do have to sleep, and eat).

Well that is very kind of you. I will check out that website you pointed me to and see. I think I have to download teamspeak first, right? Get that up and running. I live in east coast Australia and you are in the US, right...so timing might be an issue. But nothing I couldn't work out. Let me check it out and I'll get back to you. Hi Apoll,
Once you have teamspeak installed and the simulator running 1.4 patch you should jump in to the teamspeak channel when you have time and meet some of the folks.Its a great crowd from all over the globe and you will find many who will play on your time schedule.We have one member in New zealand so that would suit you for a start :P
Its a great crowd who gather there to organise battles and its not at all a judgmental attitude you will encounter.All are welcome and the concept is to enjoy it and have fun.If you dont check it out you wont ever know so please come by when you have the time.Hope to see you there.Either way you run it this software is very special and even just coming to chat to some other like minded folks interested in the period is rewarding.Just the other day i was AFK in the main lobby whilst helping one of my daughters and i caught fragments of a conversation between two guys on other sides of the world who were helping each other trace relatives!How about that, you cant even pay for that kind of service in the real world.Its a great place.

hey another Aussie (I'm in Adelaide)...my problem is that most US based MP games are played on Saturday mornings and that's not a good time for me. Perhaps we should look at getting some ANZAC games in the evenings!

The guys here who play Mp are really good to play this game with, I really haven't found any better well maybe the guys I use to play Silent Hunter 2, and Destroyer Command with back a few years ago.

Apoll, Im in the Eastern U.S. but, if you'll coordinate with Gen'l Cleburne, we'll be happy to work out a time that is easiest for you to engage in an MP game. We have a very accomodating group of guys and will have no problem fielding enough divisions so as to make your first MP experience worthwhile...Bring your division up General Apoll, the enemy is out there, and he must be defeated :evil:
