Ah, I forgot: does or will any of the Napoleonic mods require Antetiem? Just to be certain that I'm actually ready to saddle up and go, when the time comes. ;)

The mod only needs the basic game.

Hi, I am new here and picked up this thread from the Wargamer Site where the new Napoleonic mod is stirring up some excitement. Two questions: is there a time line for making the mod available and will it self-install?

The reason I ask about self-install is that the installation of Rebels and Red Coats for TC2 or TC I cannot remember was an ordeal. Great mod. Loved playing it but had to get my 20-something son to assist me with install.

Thanks.

Haigg,

The Mod is available now at the "Road to Wagram" thread within this set of topics. There is no install required. The Mod is reasonably self-contained. You merely place the entire folder in the Mods section of the SOWGB game, then activate it.
As I mentioned to A.S. Johnston, you might want to wait a bit, as Gunship is updating it as we speak. Welcome aboard.

Jack,

Thanks for the information and the welcome. When you say activate, do you mean activate with the SOW activation code or simply open it from the sandbox menu? B-t-w, I will wait for gunship's update.

Haigg,

You'll need to "activate" it as a normal Mod in the Modifications section of the game. You will also have to "de-activate" all other Mods in there as the Nap Mod will conflict with them.

Hi not yet, although all the units plus new ones are now converted to packed form about 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Im currently doing scenario for Teugn-Hausen havent done much as im learning as i go, if it starts to drag ill just release it later, would be nice though to have scenarios as thats a bulk of the fun. Splash screens done, no more ACW. I have a vision in my head what i would like out the new version.
