Hello,
I have a general question that I wonder if someone could help me out with. I have both Gettysburg and Antietam, and in both games the small streams and Antietam Creek are brown ditches with no water running in them. My "Show Map Objects" is set at "best" levels, and when I looked at the log report, there appeared to be no loading errors. I did go back and look through previous posts, and found where someone asked a similar question quite a ways back - and was told that the streams were brown water because of rain? I believe that was before the Antietam map came out though. Any comments, or a fix would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
Ernie

113,000 troops near a stream...... it's all sewage! :p
But seriously, I think that is more of a "saving graphics usage" thing, but I could be wrong.

Re: Water @ Streams
Ernie, this was discussed recently (within the last week). Sorry, but what you see is what you get. We would have expected at least Rock and Marsh creeks in the GB game and the Antietam creek and the Potomac river in the Antietam game would have at least the same level of graphics as Bull Run creek in TC2M. Sadly, this did not happen. Doesn't affect game play, but it sure takes the immersion level down a notch.

You can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.

Thanks to everyone who replied. With all of the other beautiful graphics work, it's a shame the water was overlooked. Sorry, but I didn't see this particular posts before.
Again, thanks for the responses,
Ernie

It is, and it wasn't overlooked. It's just one of those things that while improving one area, another area suffered. It's on the list though for improvement.im betting its something the team will adress at some stage in the future. cheers
