Re: Valverde Map - Released
Do these work in multiplayer?
I installed the maps on two computers, started the game up and activated the mod on both, then tried to start a sandbox MP game. I got "Level Not Found" on both computers and the game crashed.

Re: Valverde Map - Released
Can someone familiar with mp issues on the team consider this. I wondered whether it is because the map isl file is in the mods folder instead of the base/maps folder.
Garnier..... You could do a quick test by pasting the valverde.isl into the base/maps folder on each pc and running again.

Yeah, you guys can try what Crikey suggests.. These maps should work in MP though. Every file used is on the MP safe list.
After you have tried that and still no luck, let us know. If it does work, I'll make sure and change the installers to place the lsl file in the Maps folder.

Re: Valverde Map - Released
I tried:
1) Copying the Valverde.lsl file into the Base/Maps folder, and keeping Valverde mod activated. Got Level Not Found when I tried to launch the MP game.
2) Copying all of the Valverde map files into the Base/Maps folder, with the Valverde mod deactivated. In this case, the game didn't list the map when I tried to set up a sandbox game.

Hmmm.. And I assume you disabled all other mods? Probably not the issue, but never hurts to try.
If still broken, we'll look into it.

Re: Valverde Map - Released
Yes, all other mods disabled.
It's always been the case that you couldn't use new maps in the Base/Maps folder. For instance, my random maps have to overwrite the stock maps, because I can't copy the stock maps and rename them.
As far as I knew, the mapname.csv and .ini files were not mod-able in MP. I wasn't able to mod these for the stock maps in MP.
If I host a game with the Valverde mod enabled, I can see the Valverde map in the sandbox list, and can create a scenario on it. But when I click to Launch Game, I get the "Level not found" box with Abort/Retry/Ignore. Clicking Ignore next gives the message that it can't find the Heightfield TGA (part of the .lsl file).

Re: Valverde Map - Released
By the way, you don't need multiple players to test this. Just try hosting an MP game by yourself with this map and try to launch it, and it will crash.
