Re: MP Courier Crashing
No they where not T/C'd, When I ordering a regiment to move to a location I got the Courier Message from them.
Re: MP Courier Crashing
Strange, it never happened to me unless they were TC'd.
Does this happen you when you play SP as well?

Re: MP Courier Crashing
Not sure. I will check when I get home.
Didn't mean to hijack this thread. Can you move it so as to not take the attention from resolving the other guys problems.

Re: MP Courier Crashing
That is incorrect. Our problem is not with AI couriers. We rarely use them. Our problem is with player to player couriers. Thanks NY - I think that couriers between players are OK, it is using Custom settings and couriers for Brigade and above where I have experienced problems and where Monty's group are also having troubles.
Re: MP Courier Crashing
Sorry Monty. Trying to clarify things I muddied them ;-(
I suppose it does underline the importance of being very specific.
It also begs the question - is anyone succesfully using couriers (between players and to AI subordinates with Couriers set to Brigade) in MP games on a regular basis?

Re: MP Courier Crashing
I've opened my sowgb/work/sowgb.ini file and there is no '[Debug]' line.Martin, There's a flag in sowgb/work/sowgb.ini
[Debug]
MPLog=1
Do I need to add the 2 lines above? If so, does it matter where?
Thanks for any help.

Yes, you have to add the debug section. It doesn't matter where, I usually add it under the initialization section.I've opened my sowgb/work/sowgb.ini file and there is no '[Debug]' line.Martin, There's a flag in sowgb/work/sowgb.ini
