Hi, I found Perrin, Lt. Gen Longstreet in the 2nd Day OOB, also with Longstreet under him I found Maj, Gen Kershaw was looking for the following I checked the OOB's extensivelly but did not see them maybe I missed them they are
Maj. Gen. and Gov. Milledge Luke Bonham
Lt. Gen. Wade Hampton
maybe they were not at Gettysburg
If they were not it kind of reminds me of what Patton said "20 years from now when you have your grandson on your knee and he asks you, 'what did you do during the great world war', you won't have to say, 'well... I shoved shit in Louisiana.'
Need help finding Lt. Gen etc in OOB Confederate

This is Abner Monroe Perrin born Edgefield County, South Carolina born Feb 8th 1827 fought in Gettysburg and other engagements.
"Maj. Gen. Edward "Allegheny" Johnson's division was captured on May 12, 1864, units from the Third Corps—including Perrin's brigade—were called in to help. Leading his troops in a spirited counterattack through a very heavy fire, with his sword in hand, Perrin fell from his horse pierced by seven bullets. He died instantly.
Perrin is buried in the Confederate Cemetery in Fredericksburg, Virginia." source wiki

Re: Need help finding Lt. Gen etc in OOB Confederate
Hey there Powder,
I think you'll find that Bonham came out of the Army in 1862 and served in Confederate congress.Although serving in the Army of the Potomac under Beauregard in 1861 he was only commisioned as Brigadier General and commanded a Brigade. He certainly wasnt at Gettysburg.
Wade Hampton was however and you will find him in the Confederate OOB in the Cavalry Corps(Division)under Jeb Stuart. He also was only commisioned Brigadier General at Gettysburg although he did go on to become Maj General and then Lt General later in the war after Stuart's death.
Hope this helps
