I know from earlier posts that people one day play a game, then the next the game .exe file is missing, or has been tagged as a positive, when in fact it's a false positive which makes you rub your head in frustration...
I just started using AVG (anti-virus) software, and there is something folks should know about what things to disable so you don't have this problem.
All anti virus programs come prepacked, and installed for the new user out there which is not such a bad thing, but can cause some issues which the new person may not know about until they come face to face with the problem I mention above.
First, after installing AVG, immediately go to your Settings->Advanced settings and turn the "Heal and Remove Auto" feature to OFF.
This will make sure that any false positives will not be deleted. You will be notified of the problem, and you can decide what you wish to do yourself at a later time. In doing this it will give you much more control over what happens to your system. Remember it is your computer, you own it, and don't ever let any piece of software tell you otherwise... It's yours!
Next, make sure that you add Scourge of War - Gettysburg to your exception list. Make sure you add the .exe, and the .dll's as well.
That's it!
Happy gaming...
