I just recieved this in the Mail... from Blizzard Directly!
This is from Blizzard themselves...
Beware Diablo 3 Game Breaking Bug!!
Diablo 3 Bug
Mikesla -- If you recently purchased Diablo 3 and just began playing the game, be very careful! There is a bug in the game that will completely kill your game.
When you pick up the Templar NPC, make sure you do NOT equip him at all. If you do, it will cause your game to crash and will lock you out of the game completely!
Blizzard is aware of the issue and is working on an update. In the meantime just make sure not to equip the Templar NPC.

Sorry but that's just kind of funny. They need to fire their test team.

I mean how outlandish is Blizzard for even releasing such a game!
This is a classic case of the SUIT'S pushing for the release before it's ready. No different when politicians interfere with matter of war, you are guaranteed to fail every time.....
Oh well I hope they can get their act together.

I'm picking through the Battle.net support forum, and the they had to shut down the US server to do some repairs.
I guess they should have extended the open beta for all people to may 1st instead of only having it as a closed beta that way they really could have not only exposed their game to a larger audience, but also worked out allot of the bugs, and also only for a few people install, and play the retail version to give that a test drive as well. Allot of this could have been avoided if they stepped off their "We can't do no wrong" throne for a second. They knew what was coming but they did very little to stop it. I guess they believed to much into their own press.
For their short sightedness, they will pay a price for it I'm afraid.

People lose trust in them. They don't want to feel their money is wasted

That normally will happen. All of those folks who pre-ordered the game to soon find out they had to re-download a patched copy, and have server issue's, game crashes, and the receive a warning from Blizzard not to use a particular character in fear of losing their investment. With all of the hype given to this game, I'm sure it dashed a few peoples spirits especially when the game costs about $60.00 dollars.People lose trust in them. They don't want to feel their money is wasted
I'm sure Blizzard will get these issue's under control, and the gamers out there will still buy the game forgetting Blizzards debacle after playing the first few levels.
For a good majority of gamers out there, their attention span is that of a 100 year old. Once they get their fix they will buy into whatever Blizzard sends their way, and forget all about Diablo 3.
