Trees are semi invisible. Is there a way to keep the trees solid?

Sure, there are two edits that will have to be made.Trees are semi invisible. Is there a way to keep the trees solid?
Scourge of War-Gettysburg \ Work – folder
Look for a file called SOWGB.ini – it’s a configuration settings file.
Then change the default lines to the ones that are listed below, you are just changing the following two lines, not any of the other settings.
Options – find this entry under options and change the value to 50
transtree=50
Variables - find this entry under Variables and change the value to 50
#opttranstree=50
That’s about it!

Re: Trees Semi Invisible
If you dont want to change your SOWGB.ini file, I'm pretty sure you can change it in the game options menu as well - theres a tree transparency radius in there. Set it as low as it will go.

*nods* yeah, just use the game options screen. 50 yards is as low as it goes and its a design function of the game, you can't stop it happening, just the distance at which it happens.

Below that option, uncheck the 'Make Walls Transparent w/Trees' option to keep the stone walls showing right up close.

HITS & Couriers - a different and realistic way to play SoW MP.

Leave it up to me to try to mod something that already has an in-game-option , but then again, I have never been the brightest light in the classroom.If you dont want to change your SOWGB.ini file, I'm pretty sure you can change it in the game options menu as well - theres a tree transparency radius in there.
