Creating Scourge of War Gettysburg on Wikipedia, and I am doing this blind.

When I first brought this up, I was told that Google frowns on self promoting companies to work on their own Wiki so I decided to lay low, and see if anyone would take up the request... No one showed up or even broke wind in the direction toward making a wiki for SOW (sad really). I don't expect NSD to do this because I am itching to get my hands on patch 1.5 (I know the rest of you are waiting as well), and the NSD team needs all their attention on creating a better SOW gaming experience.

I have no idea on how to create this, which means I have allot of reading to do, and allot of mistakes will be made. I just don't want to cause any harm to NSD by my screw ups which pretty much is the main reason why I didn't want to start this (I have no confidence in my knowledge on Wiki) in the first place but someone has to start it.

Anyway, I just wanted to post this just to let you know I am starting this, and it would be nice if others would eventually fill Scourge of War Gettysburg Wiki with all of their knowledge on playing this game.

Well back to trying to figure this out.

Thanks Michael. I have made wiki pages before and it's actually pretty easy if you have even basic website building skills. There are plenty of how to sites out there. The only real pain is citing sources, and even that won't be hard because NSD is pretty much everywhere on the web except for wiki.

I'm starting to read up on Wiki now.

It's one thing if doing something like this for oneself, but when you do it for people you have allot of respect for, it's a whole other ball game.
