Played Fox Gap last night and really enjoyed the game and the attention to detail on realism. Have done CW living history and relic hunting for over 30 years. That battle was special to me because it was first place in the early 70s my dad took me to hunt relics. Found a nice breast plate as my first find at Fox Gap.

I have a question. I am learning modeling in Zbrush and C4D. Am starting to get fairly good at it. But i have to work on reducing my poly counts in Zbrush for my civil war models to take them back into C4D. Eventually i would like to do mods in this game. Question, are sprites just 2D film strip animations of the model? Or do you insert models in your game? If you insert the meshes in your game, what is the poly count you use? If a sprite is just a 2D film strip annimation, how do you create them? Would a rigged model with a motion file applied and video captured make a sprite? If sprites are not inserted models, do you ever have plans to go to that next step. I believe total war uses models now instead of sprites.
