Scourge of War 1.5 Patch / Activation Errors

On Matrix forum you find already the revised version of patch for the location problem starting from this morning CET.

So basically I should uninstall the 1.5 patch and re-install with the updated version?

I reinstalled with the updated patch. It still is not recognizing the old files even though they are all located within the same folder. Any ideas?

he ask you the serial for PPC and AM? If not probably becasue it feel the original installations; do like I suggested in the post be I wrote in this thread yesterday. uninstall the patch search in your registry the location of serial keys of AM and PC (should be a location "nobsoftdev"); delete the section (backup before if you want be more sure) now reinstall the patch.

It did ask me for the PC and AM serials when I reinstalled so I'm not sure why it doesn't recognize it now. What am I supposed to delete? Not sure how I feel about that.

if he ask then you should have them. verify in the additional battles section you find the battles of map pack or in the sandbox it display the maps of packs. Eventually simply reinstall only the packs

And the saved games? Right now, it has nothing recorded of all my prior battles, even though all files are in their proper locations. In fact, when I click on Load Saved Game, the game freezes up.

If you did the new install in C:\Matrix Games\Scourge of War - Gettysburg and your previous game was somewhere else, then you should copy the save game files from <old location>\Scourge of War - Gettysburg\Work\Saved Games to the Saved Games folder in the Matrix Games file structure. This should restore all saved games.

Mods are in <old location>\Scourge of War - Gettysburg\Mods and can be copied over as well.

You will probably have to download and install the PC and Ant battle packs from Matrix. As long as you have all fo the install codes this *should* be straight forward.

Before installing the 1.5 patch, I moved all the old files to the C Drive so they are all in the C Drive currently. Should I just uninstall 1.5, move old files back to another location, reinstall 1.5, and then transfer the old files? If so, how do I uninstall 1.5?
