I do not quite understand what is going on with the objectives ion the scenario.
The objective is to hold the line, but after some time into the scenario, the objectives to be occupied switch to another location on the map. Very odd. Has anyone completed this scenario? how so?
thanks!
Question about this scenario, "The Bullet is not molded which is to kill me"

M,
It's certainly been completed by many. The switching of objectives is not unusual and done to simulate the historical conditions of the battle. It's been awhile since I completed it so I'll leave the tactical details to someone whose memory is better than mine.

This link has other links that explain some strategies for this scenario.
This scenario has two objectives, the 2nd begins after the 1st one deactivates. Cover the second one, have a controlled retreat to save points...that's about it. The designer of this scenario rarely comes around anymore, if he pokes his head in, maybe he can explain why this one seems odd to you.

Re: Question about this scenario, "The Bullet is not molded which is to kill me"
Thanks all,
Another problem I am having is that the art is does not respond well to commands the same way brigades do.
When I order Art to move somewhere, they usually just move a few feet and that's it. Not very helpful. Has anyone else experienced this weirdness?
thanks!

If you are playing at the Normal difficulty or below, then you will need to TC the battery commander. Then click on the spot you want him to move to, then click on the battery formation you want the guns to be in when they reach their new location. Once they are there, be sure to un-TC the commander.
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.

Not sure what "TC is.?
I am playing at custom level, with map icons set to "side"
and courier orders set to "side."
I have AI regiment set to 110
AI aggressiveness 1
and AI Morale 1
would this equate to sits?
I like sits but I also want to know where all my troops are. in the real world a commander usually knows where his troops are because he receives dispatches. So I don't think it's realistic to not see all of your troops, unless you can send out couriers to get their location.

TC is Take Command. If you press the little flag on the toolbar, it brightens, and you now have full control over that unit. It is a zombie and will do your bidding. Press it again, and it darkens. Now the AI controls the unit. When you want to micro-position a unit and keep it there or move artillery that is engaged, the TC button is your friend.
