Trans-Mississippi Map Pack

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Yes I would really love to see them too. And those new flags too. Are they a part of the pack?

Thanks in advance.

We will unleash our talented map maker to wind up both Red River and TM packs as soon as we get Chancellorsville finished and in your hands.

Should have known he was helping with Chancellorsville. I'm going to pick that up as soon as it's released, but I wants my Prairie Grove and Pea Ridge, too!

I am working on the finalizing my work for these maps and OOB's. Reb Bugler has fabricated some 50+ Trans-Mississippi flags. I have spent months on Chancellorsville and had a few personal issues along the way. I am pleased to say that they will be released when they get released. That will be a few weeks after CV is released. It would not be fair to my employers to release 6-7 free maps right before or right after a major project is released.

Chancellorsville is a crowning accomplishment for me and my brothers at NSD. It will be by far the most superior product visually and detailed thus created by us. The visuals are new and fantastic, and the scenarios are the best that Reb, Lil Powell, and Jim have done and well conceived. This project was not like an Antietam or Gettysburg, where every land mark and road were accounted for. We did more research than most historians have done to recreate it. Not to boast but we have reconstructed the maps better than any single representation.

The Trans-Mississippi maps are great and have been promised for a while, I apologize for the lengthy wait. I started them just before I was hired by Norb & Co. to create Chancellorsville. The scrutiny and detail required for an NSD product is beyond what I envisioned. "They worked my ass off". However,
this project is going to be released and will be well worth the wait my friends.

Respectfully,

How will the water features look like in Chancellorsville? I couldn't help but be disappointed by what was supposed to be antietam creek..

The new water is on the Secessionville map that is free for download. It looks a lot better than what we previously had, and its reflective.
So in other words the Rappahannock River will look great!

ooh, shiny! That's definitely a great improvement, even if the infamous submerged confederate ambush tactic becomes possible. Any change for a watery upgrade to the existing maps as well at some point?

Doubtful, but I wouldn't rule it out completely.. Normally, we'd rather spend the time on moving forward and creating new products instead of going back and spending time on the existing one's.
