TC Button not working properly

Game won't run. Keeps crashing. Hopefully we won't get any posts here, but if we do, we'll try to help you out. You can also post any bugs that you find here. IMPORTANT: Don't post mod related problems here!

In my case, I really wasn't registering the change in colour. I mentioned it on a thread here, tried loads of things, but it was just that I wasn't seeing the change! I think the fog of war and panic contributed, but IIRC, I just had to calm down and look properly.

Edit: I found the thread - I was not alone ;-)

This is a very odd post. One thing for sure about TC'ing units, the flag will not only highlight, but will also levitate and display larger. Check all these characteristics. TC'd units are also quite obvious, officers become zombies that won't react on their own, and, regiments and guns won't wheel when engaged, becoming useless and easy kill fodder. Of course, all us Vets know this behavior, I think this so called anomaly is just being created by noob ignorance, and is not an issue.

I agree. An odd problem makes for an odd post. I perfectly understand - Having played TC2M for the last 4 years - how to handle the TC button. I'm also very aware of the consequences. That's why I'm looking for a solution so hard. For me, it's clearly highlighted and I don't understand how one cannot see the difference; yet here we are.

I like to refer to that guy as a person I want to help improve his game and solve the issue he has so he finally can enjoy the multiplayer experience, you call him an ignorant noob, which I, by the way, find very distasteful.

If one does not see the difference, he doesn't. There might be a thousand reasons besides ignorance and newbism. It might also be that his game is messed up or that his mouse settings are screwed up. Who knows. I don't. But I'm still gonna try as long as he wants to play.

Hey, I'm just trying to help out. Ignorant is not a slant, it just means 'not being aware of the facts'. And noob just means 'new to the game'.

Regardless, you're obviously 'ignorant' of folks intentions, so I'll not tread on your threads again.

Maybe next time I should check the dictionary before I comment. My appologies. I hope you can see how "noob ignorance" can be misunderstood by a non-native speaker.

Very becoming of an NSD team member to insult a native German speaking guy who's trying to help out a new player.

And you know full well "ignorant" certainly has pejorative connotations.

Shame on you RB.

Ha, apology accepted. I suggest in your profile you name your nationality and/or country. This way we Americans will 'cut you some slack', meaning be 'more understanding' when you think something might have been insulting. I'm sure you thought I was inferring that ignorant meant 'IDIOT - not being able to be aware of the facts', a common misinterpretation.

You are flat wrong with this vile assertion.

2.

3.

And you know full well "ignorant" certainly has pejorative connotations.
Where does that read in these definitions?

Sorry, Reb, but a statement such as the following is certainly pejorative: "I can't believe NSD has an ignorant person as a mod." (just an example)
Don't you mean "ignorant...modder" :P
