An old lurker coming in from the cold

Hi everyone , just thought id pop in and offer my appreciation of this great game. I go back to tcm and followed sow since the beginning. given my experience i have to admit to being a pretty average player nevertheless along with the combat mission and command ops franchises my wargaming needs are pretty well met. (like to put histwar in there to but god its a hard game to love)
Been about 8 months since i fired her up but follow the forums and was aware of state of play. The update issue was a bit of a worry but install went fine also on a whim grabbed some mods ( once i start i cant stop ) including the bugles fantastic mod with the new toolbar - what an addition! Bit overwhelming at first but once you work it out and dont overdo it its great , those sneaky two function buttons were a bit of a trick though. the new flags are great and along with new terrain the game has never looked better
the engine now is nice and mature and ,imo,stable as a rock. Brigade deployments continue to amaze me , i couldnt possibly do it better.
