Chancellorsville shrubbery

Hello. I recently downloaded Chancellorsville. It plays fine, except there is no shrubbery (trees, etc). I've tried downloading Patch 1.5, but this hasn't worked. Can you help?

Hi Tony,

It could be a few things.

1. You haven't pressed the 't' key by accident have you? This turns vegetation off.

2. Also, check your option settings, make sure percentage vegetation hasn't been set to 0%.

3. Make sure you havent got visibility distance for vegetation set too low.

If con20or's suggestions don't fix it, load one of the Chancellorsville maps, then exit the game. Go to your game directory, Work folder, find the sowgb.log (or sowcv.log if you have Chancellorsville) and post the contents. It will give us a clue as to what is happening.

Patch 1.5 is required.

Are you saying the 1.5 patch installed correctly but did not fix the problem or are you saying that the 1.5 patch did not install correctly?

The missing plant life is normally the result of not installing the 1.5 patch or having a bad download of the 1.5 patch. In either event, please delete the current 1.5 patch installer, download a fresh copy from Matrix and run the new 1.5 installer. If that does not fix it then we can consider less common issues.

Thanks everyone for your feedback so far. Yes, I meant I had downloaded Patch 1.5 successfully, but I'm just about to attempt a reload (not sure how you uninstall the old version, but I should be able to install the new version over the top.

Option settings, etc, all correct.

Well, I fixed the problem. I reinstalled 1.5, except it killed Chancellorsville completely and I then had to reinstall the game - but it all looks very shrubby now. Thanks for your help!
