Thanks for the response gunship. I agree with you the Hesse Darmstadt troops in Spain do look like french light infantry in a way. However, I was thinking about the 1809 campaign where the only troops to wear a shako was the artillery. The 1809 Hesse Darmstadt line and light infantry wore the same type of uniform of the 1806 prussians. They wore a bicorne and even in 1809 wore some troops still wore the back pack in the 1806 prussian style on the side of the hip. The troops would look perfect from the from the NTW lordz 1806 prussians with maybe a blue coat and red lapels for line and green coat red lapels for the light infantry.

Ahh yes i forgot about the bicorne chaps in 1809. Im first working on a few units to supplememnt the austrians: Uhlans, Landwehr and Cavalry battery and creating better looking generals and unit leaders.
