McMaster from CWG2

Post by General McMaster »

Thanks JT, I'm going to download this today and give it a whirl. Any patches, multiplayer rooms?

Thanks Mac

Achilles!!!!! OMG!!!! Talk about some fond memories!!! Man it's been years since I've heard/seen anything from you. Yeah ole JT is still around. I'm currently getting my arse handed to me as I learn the SOW world! And talk about a great CW game man this is it! I've talked to a few other old timers on facebook and they are suppose to be on the way. Would be awesome for us old CWG2 guys to get on the same team some time eh? Galt and I always used to discuss that in CWG2 and dream of having it where say 2 or 3 of us could play as a team with each commanding a corps or division or whatever and this SOW series makes it very possible. It also seems that the company is standing behind the game (something that didn't happen much in CWG2) in releasing patches if need be and releasing new battles from time to time. I've heard Shiloh is next in the works. And we must give a HUGE shout out to Garnier for his mod(s) that makes the game so much better. Anyway man it's really great to see you again. I reckon I'll bump into you in SOW some time eh?

Hey Joe I apologize for the delay but I just found this forum. I usually check the forum at http://forums.sowmp.com/ and I encourage you to also do so. You probably also wanna check out out http://www.sowmp.com/gcm/ You'll find everything you need to know to get started online on those two..especially the second one. I do kinda miss kicking your arse around battlefields...lol...so get your butt in gear and come on into SOW multiplayer.

No I haven't tried a HITS game yet but plan to soon. It seems like that would be much more historical than using teamspeak.

well nice to meet you anyway, you'll really enjoy it.

A few of the HITS groups only allow teamspeak when general sprites are right beside each other - a nice rule I think.

Achilles and Mac, my old comrades in arms, we need to schedule a time to get together and play one online. My email is jrt1971@outlook.com or jrt19713@hotmail.com. My schedule is currently pretty flexible so I should be able to play at your leisure. So perhaps Achilles and I could once again fight some very tough, classic battles! And perhaps I can continue to chase Mac's armies off the map in this game also ... B)

I will be awaiting an email from you two.
