Question \ Drills file:
Question \ Drills file:
Does anybody know how to prevent units from stacking on top of each other at the start of a game?
I have three Brigades that spawn at the exact location every game, I would like them to spread-out better.
I can't figure this out, but I know that it is a setting in the drills file.
Thanks,
davinci

DaV,
Interesting you should bring this up. I've noticed this with units farther down the line in the Division. Usually it's a Cavalry unit when there are two or more of them.
Would be interesting to know.

Correct, I'm having a problem with the last three-brigades [/b] stacking on top of each other in both Divisions.Interesting you should bring this up. I've noticed this with units farther down the line in the Division. Jack B)
That, along with you having the same problem would indicate that there must be a limit on the number of units that can be assigned to a division.
But, I thought that the limit was sixteen , and I'm below that!

Re: Question \ Drills file:
Are you talking about the problem where brigades from adjoining divisions overlap at the start of the sandbox game? If so, a possible solution would be to create a corps line formation and replace this line in defines.ini: MainFormation=DRIL_Lvl4_Inf_Line with the name of the new corps formation. That may fix the problem. There is already a corps line formation in the drills.csv in the Couriers&Maps mod. You could give that a quick test. It might also screw up the the initial placement of the divisions when they are initially placed in the map corners.
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.
Re: Question \ Drills file:
No, the problem is not with another Division - this is a picture of both divisions forming a separate line at the start of a game. Are you talking about the problem where brigades from adjoining divisions overlap at the start of the sandbox game?
Well, forget about the picture, the forum will not allow me to add an attachment.
But, the three-stacking-brigades are in the same division.

I have that problem too - RB tracked it down, it's a firefox issue. Chrome or IE still work fine.Well, forget about the picture, the forum will not allow me to add an attachment.
