Bugles & Flags XIX

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

My first thoughts are that your graphics card is not handling the larger texture sheets--4096x4096.
Copied from Amish John SOWGB.txt file.

Game Launched
19:30:35 Version:SOWGB
1.6000
19:30:36 Loading Defined Lists
19:30:36 Initializing
19:30:37 Mod: C:\NORBSOFTDEV\SCOURGE OF WAR - GETTYSBURG\Mods\Bugles and Flags XI
19:30:37 Ansi:16, TexH:2048, TexW:2048

The last line might mean that his Graphic's Card cannot handle the texture file, just as you mentioned above.

But, I'm just guessing here!

Sorry Amish John, until you upgrade your video card, you'll have to stick with version 10.

No problem, I'm just thankful the B&F mods are available to us. I'm looking for a link to v10. Did a search but can't locate it. My computer is about five years old so I can believe the video card can't handle XI.

Hey, when you downloaded the V10 did you delete the download from your Computer?

My downloads remain in the Downloads \ Folder unless I personally delete them.

I never downloaded 10.
I was going from 9 to 11.

Thanks Reb.

The Elders have approved my computer since I painted it dark gray and it's powered by a belt and pulley system driven off a waterwheel. It works wonderful good except there's some shoofly pie stuck between the keys.

I was considering a similar post, but you out-shined my best effort with this one. ;) :P

Hi folks.

Replaying the original Gettysburg game and noticed that the latest Bugles and Flags mod, including the modified toolbar, doesn't work in these scenarios.

My games are all patched to 1.6.

The Bugles and Flag mod works fine with Pipe Creek, Antietam and Chancellorsville.

Any suggestions? The Gettysburg game plays fine otherwise.

Really like this mod!

Thanks, CJ.

Mods cannot be played with stock Gettysburg scenarios. However, the scenarios can be renamed for this purpose. The following mod serves this purpose quite well except carryover scenarios are eliminated:

Glad you're a B&F patron, I'm always pleased that what works for me, works for others also. :)
