How to use Leffe7's SOWgb Scenario Generator (Small How To Video Included)

Post by Michael Slaunwhite »

This is NOT an in-depth how to. I may make one when I have the time, BUT this video does show you some of the scenario's generator features along with how to turn it into a scenario pack to share.

Use 1080p for best results.

Thanks for the quick video. I've got two comments.

2:25 I reccomend to set your Excel Security Level to Medium instead of Low. This way you will be asked each time you open an Excel if you want to activate Macros or not.

8:10 It is not necessary to create a mod and copy the scenario files there. You can also leave the files where they are and start the game by selecting the scenario at the bottom of the list.

I didn't know that Thank You.

The reason for my creating it as a mod is so that people can share their work. Having it the way now is fine if it's meant primarily for the local user, but if you are wishing to share your work, it's good practice to create them, and submit them as scenario/mods otherwise people will overwrite their own work if they stay with the default setting.

Thank You Leffe7 for Scenario Generator.

Cheers.

Michael;
Is there a way to add the 10 mile map v2 into the map selection cell
of your scenario generator v1.1? This really works great - thanks.
Off topic - Anyone knows where to download a 10 mile map of Gettysburg?
(Mac map, Cemetary hill, round tops, Seminary/Cemetary ridge, Devils Den/Peach Oechard,
etc.)

Hi Bob64
the Scenario Generator only supports 2.5 and 5 mile maps. There is no 10mile map of Gettysburg.
